Andrew Kirby was until recently the editor of the interdisciplinary Elsevier journal “Cities.” His research on suburbs and privatization has appeared in a number of inter/disciplinary journals. He has lived and worked in the UK and several US States; he is a longtime observer of urban issues in Arizona.
