Andy Sywak is the publisher of the monthly Castro Courier neighborhood newspaper in San Francisco. His work has appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle and the East Bay Express. He also writes a blog on the HBO show "The Wire." Before publishing the Courier, Andy worked in marketing, political campaigns, public relations and at other neighborhood newspapers in San Francisco. A native of Berkeley, he is currently earning a M.A. in public policy at UCLA.
