Some of the more common means of maintaining surface street traffic flow is the use of loop-sensors embedded in the pavement allowing for intersection traffic signal timing adjustments to favor the more heavily delayed roadways; the use of a "smart-grid" traffic control system which allows for the synchronization of traffic signals to improve traffic flow (as of October 2009 this system is currently installed at 85% of the city's signalized intersections, more than any other US city.

My opinion is that lots of will be very happy with this infrastructure evolution. Many of the areas described here on the map have improved by at least 35% in the past 3 years. That is something and my opinion is that more and more people will buy cars for personal use.

That's an interesting map, I've already saved it, I find it really useful. There is one thing I am concerned about: travel by car? I think it would have been more useful to share the miles per hour because different cars run on different speeds. I got my car through a car donations program, it works just fine but I can't rely on it in speeding.

I recommend people traveling by using a Jet Charter to speed things up. Time is money, always remember that.
